Product description

Flat transparent plastic bottle with white cap is a universal container suitable for various liquid and slightly viscous preparations. The transparent body of the bottle enables immediate visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate for handmade cosmetics as well as for smaller product batches. Thanks to its practical shape and reliable closure, the bottle is suitable for storage, dispensing and transport of products in both home and professional production.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The plastic bottle can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene rules are observed, especially when making your own cosmetics or auxiliary solutions. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the container thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant-based ethanol. In this way, you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the safe use of the packaging.

How should the plastic bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before another filling?

Before repeated filling, we recommend first rinsing the container with water and a suitable mild detergent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry at room temperature. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the cap with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. For plastic packaging, we do not recommend boiling or using a dishwasher, in order to avoid damaging the material.

Is this plastic container suitable for the dishwasher or for sterilisation by boiling?

Plastic containers of this type are not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. When washing in a dishwasher or boiling, there is a risk of deformation, softening or loss of shape stability of the container. For these reasons, we do not recommend using a dishwasher or thermal sterilisation procedures. For hygienic preparation before filling, gentle hand cleaning and disinfection with an alcohol-based preparation is more suitable.

How can I correctly dispose of or recycle this packaging after use?

If you decide not to use the container any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the recommendations given for the product in the parameter table. Before handing it over for collection, it is advisable to empty the container and, if necessary, rinse out any product residues. Then place it in the collection bin corresponding to the material type specified for the product (for example, in the container intended for sorting the respective plastic). By recycling, you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.

What should I pay attention to when filling the plastic bottle with different types of cosmetic preparations?

When filling the plastic bottle, it is important to take into account the viscosity, alcohol content, content of essential oils and other active substances in the final product. Emulsions or gels that are too thick may not be suitable for every type of closure or applicator. For formulations with a higher proportion of alcohol or aromatic substances, we recommend test-filling a smaller amount, observing the behaviour of the material and checking whether any changes in colour, elasticity or sealing occur. It is always advisable to test the dispensing method in practice as well.
