Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling as long as it does not show signs of damage or wear. With every reuse, however, it is important to follow hygiene principles – before refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the offer as products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to air out and dry well so that no residues of alcohol or moisture remain.
Before reuse, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a residual medium suitable for the given type of formulation (for example a small amount of water or oil depending on the original contents), then washing it with a mild cleansing agent and rinsing it thoroughly with water. After mechanical cleaning, the packaging must be disinfected – ideally using a suitable alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, applied by rinsing the interior or spraying onto the surface. Always make sure that the bottle is completely dry after disinfection before filling it again. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new fill.
Plastic packaging made of PET material is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. With long-term or intensive exposure to heat, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, deterioration of sealing and change in appearance. For this reason, PET bottles are not recommended to be washed in a dishwasher, dried with hot air or boiled. For cleaning, it is more appropriate to use mildly warm to lukewarm water and to avoid contact with very hot surfaces or close proximity to heat sources. Adhering to these principles helps maintain shape stability, closure functionality and the safety of the packaged product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it into separate collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle, wipe or rinse any remaining contents and remove any contaminants that could complicate processing. Then place the packaging in the appropriate container for plastic waste according to local waste sorting rules. You can recycle the cap together with the body of the packaging, provided it is also plastic and the local sorting system allows it. Always follow the material pictogram and the recommendations of your collection system so that recycling is as effective as possible.
