Yes, the packaging can be safely reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is advisable to clean the bottle and the sprayer thoroughly and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying is it appropriate to refill the container with the final product.

For what type of products is the trigger sprayer most suitable?

The trigger sprayer is ideal for low-viscosity liquids, especially water and water–alcohol solutions. It is excellent for facial and body waters, hydrolats, air fresheners, textile sprays, hand disinfectant solutions and gentle cleaning sprays. For thicker emulsions or oil-based products, we always recommend carrying out a test to verify the flow and the spray quality.

How should I correctly clean and maintain the bottle with sprayer between uses?

After the contents have been used up, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and detergent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and letting it dry. Then disinfect the packaging and the spray mechanism with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-based ethanol. After the alcohol has completely evaporated and the inside and outside surfaces have dried, the bottle is ready for refilling.

How can I correctly recycle this bottle if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is advisable first to empty it and remove any product residues as much as possible. According to the material designation, place the bottle and the sprayer in the appropriate container for sorted waste (most often plastic). Separating the individual parts (for example unscrewing the sprayer from the bottle body) will make the recycling process easier.
