Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The packaging can be reused provided you follow basic hygiene rules and the bottle is not mechanically damaged. Before each refilling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and maintains the stability of your formulations.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle before the next filling?

First, we recommend rinsing the container with a suitable cleaning solution or mild detergent and then rinsing it thoroughly with water. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface as well as the neck and the contact areas of the closure using alcohol-based disinfectant preparations, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated, you can refill the container with the prepared product.

Is the plastic material of this bottle suitable for exposure to higher temperatures?

The plastic packaging is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. In contact with hot liquids or when heated, unwanted deformation of the bottle and deterioration of the sealing properties of the closure may occur. The packaging is also not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. We recommend using it only within the temperature range that is common for storing and using cosmetic and similar products at room temperature.

How can I correctly recycle this bottle if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations given in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Before placing it in sorted waste collection, it is advisable to rinse the container to remove any product residues and check whether any closures or inserts belong to the same collection fraction.
