The transparent plastic bottle with a flip-top closure represents a practical and functional solution for packaging various liquid preparations where convenient application and controlled dosing are important. Thanks to the transparent material, you always have a visual overview of the fill level, which makes it easier to plan refilling and to present the product to the end customer. The packaging is suitable for cosmetic and hygiene formulations that require easy one-handed opening and quick use. The PET-type material ensures low weight, good shape stability and a representative appearance of the finished product.
Yes, the packaging can be refilled repeatedly under normal use, provided it is not mechanically damaged and the rubber or sealing surfaces on the closure are in good condition. When reusing, it is important to follow basic hygiene principles – before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which are applied to the clean and dry surface of the packaging. After disinfection, allow the inside and surface of the bottle to dry thoroughly and only then proceed to fill a new product.
When changing the type of contents, we recommend proceeding in several steps. First, empty the packaging completely and rinse it with a suitable medium (for example a small amount of water or a carrier phase that is compatible with both the original and the new formulation) to remove residues of the original product. Then wash the inner space and outer surface with a mild cleaning agent suitable for contact with PET plastic and rinse thoroughly. After washing, the packaging needs to be disinfected – a practical choice is spraying or shaking with an alcohol-based solution, for example IPA or ethanol. After disinfection, allow the bottle and closure to dry completely at room temperature away from a direct heat source, to avoid deformation of the PET material.
The PET packaging is intended primarily for filling and storage at normal room temperatures. It is not recommended to fill it with hot formulations or to expose it for a long time to elevated temperatures, for example near heat sources or in an overheated vehicle. When the recommended temperatures are exceeded, the walls and base may soften or deform, which negatively affects the stability of the bottle, the sealing of the closure and overall safety in use. The packaging is not suitable for boiling or sterilisation in boiling water, and washing it in a dishwasher is also not recommended, where the combination of high temperature and long cycle can cause permanent damage to the material. If you need to work with higher temperatures in production, it is advisable to fill the bottle only after the contents have partially cooled.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend responsible disposal through sorted waste. First, make sure what material the packaging is made of – you will find this information in the product parameter table directly on the page. In the case of PET plastic, the emptied bottle belongs in the container intended for plastic collection according to local municipal collection rules. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is practical to empty the packaging as much as possible, or briefly rinse it, to minimise product residues. If the closure is made of a different material than the bottle body, follow the manufacturer’s recommendation and local guidelines – in most cases it is still possible to recycle the entire bottle, including the closure, within plastic collection. In this way, you support more efficient waste processing and the reuse of raw materials.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category (for example bottles, jars or dispensers). The advanced filter allows you to select packaging in a targeted way according to several parameters at the same time – simply choose the required neck (thread type), size (volume), colour and material of the packaging. In this way, you can quickly narrow the offer down to only those packages that meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of your formulation. We also recommend considering the desired dosing method (classic closure, pump, sprayer, flip-top) and then checking the compatibility of the selected packaging with the given type of closure directly in the product detail.
