The transparent plastic bottle with transparent cap is a universal, lightweight and practical packaging suitable for both liquid and gel formulations. The transparent material allows immediate visual inspection of the contents, which is ideal for cosmetics, hygiene preparations and other formulations where control of colour and consistency is important. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly by Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, content of surface-active agents, etc.).

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed, but we always recommend assessing the suitability of repeated use with regard to the type of product being filled. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After completely drying, the packaging can be reused for the same or a similar type of product. At the same time, the packaging must not be exposed to high temperatures in order to prevent deformation.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before the next filling?

After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild detergent suitable for hand washing. Then remove all product residues by repeated rinsing with clean water. After mechanical cleaning, disinfection follows – rinse or spray the inside and outer surface of the packaging with an alcohol disinfectant solution, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to drain well and dry completely at room temperature. The packaging is not suitable for dishwashing or boiling, in order to avoid deformation.

Is this bottle suitable for hot or freshly cooked mixtures?

The bottle made of plastic material is not intended for filling with hot or freshly cooked mixtures. High temperature may lead to softening or deformation of the walls of the packaging and negatively affect its shape stability and sealing. It is recommended to fill only cooled or lukewarm products whose temperature is appropriate to room conditions. This extends the service life of the packaging and at the same time minimises the risk of deterioration of the product and of the bottle itself.

How should the plastic bottle be correctly recycled if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the bottle further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters and on the packaging marking (recycling symbol and material abbreviation). Before placing it in the appropriate collection container, remove product residues, rinse the packaging and, according to local plastic sorting rules, hand it over to separated collection. The closure can be recycled together with the bottle or separately, depending on the locally applicable sorting rules. In this way, you support the reuse of the material and reduce the amount of waste.
