Transparent plastic bottle DISC TOP 100 ml is a practical and lightweight packaging, ideal for liquid and semi-liquid products where convenient dispensing and visual control of the contents are important. Thanks to the transparent plastic, you always have an overview of the amount of product filled, which makes both use and refilling easier. This universal packaging is suitable for home as well as professional use, from small-scale production to artisan and branded cosmetics.
Important notice regarding PET material: plastic of the PET type should not be exposed to high temperatures, at which there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. This packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling – for cleaning we recommend gentle hand washing with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, followed by thorough rinsing and disinfection.
This separate plastic bottle is ready to be combined with compatible closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters. It is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), which you will find in the relevant categories of the packaging range on Handymade.sk. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, content of alcohol, oils or surface-active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling we recommend completely emptying the packaging, washing it with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly and then disinfecting it. Products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based are suitable for disinfection. After complete drying, the packaging is ready for new filling. In view of the PET material, avoid exposure to high temperatures, boiling and washing in a dishwasher, which could cause deformation of the packaging.
If you decide not to use the packaging anymore, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Since this is a plastic packaging made of PET material, after thoroughly emptying and basic rinsing, place it in the container intended for plastic waste according to local sorting rules. The closure and the body of the packaging may be made of different plastics, so follow the recycling symbols indicated on the packaging or in the product parameters. Do not expose PET material unnecessarily to high temperatures when burning in a domestic environment and do not boil it – for disposal, sorted recycling is the most suitable.
Plastic of the PET type is not intended for filling with hot or freshly cooked products. High temperatures may lead to softening or deformation of the bottle walls and to deterioration of its mechanical stability. Before filling, always allow the formulation to cool down to room temperature. Likewise, we do not recommend overheating the packaging in an oven, microwave, or exposing it to direct contact with hot steam. By following this procedure, you will prevent damage to the bottle and maintain its functionality and aesthetic appearance.
The DISC TOP closure is ideal for liquid to medium-viscosity products that need to be dispensed in a small amount and with controlled flow. It is excellent for shampoos, shower gels, body milks with lower density, facial and body oils, micellar waters or cleansing solutions. Thanks to the “press and open” mechanism, the packaging can be conveniently operated with one hand, which is practical in the shower or bathroom. For very thick creams or pastes, dispensing through the DISC TOP may be limited, therefore we always recommend doing a trial filling before starting production.
