The plastic bottle-style medicine container with aluminium screw cap is a universal and practical packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid and powdered products in the field of cosmetics as well as home crafting. The clear plastic bottle allows for easy visual inspection of the contents, and the elegant metal cap gives the packaging a professional look, which is ideal for home brands and small-scale artisan production.
Thanks to its stable shape, high-quality plastic body and precise screw closure, this bottle is suitable for various liquid formulations, mildly viscous products and fine powder blends. The internal plastic insert in the cap helps to limit leakage of the contents when properly and evenly closed, which is important for products containing oils or fragrances.
The individual plastic bottle with neck is listed in the Handymade system so that it is compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods, such as screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators – always according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The bottle is designed to be suitable for standard cosmetic formulations, including aqueous solutions and products containing an oil phase or fragrance. For every new formula, however, we recommend carrying out a small compatibility test – fill the package with a smaller amount of product, monitor any changes in the plastic, the seal and the scent over several days, and only then fill the full volume.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before refilling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly rinsed, any residues of the original product removed, and then the entire package disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to air-dry at room temperature and only then refill it.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling in water. Exposure to high temperatures may lead to deformation of the bottle walls or deterioration of the sealing in the cap. We recommend gentle manual cleaning with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, followed by disinfection with alcohol as needed.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, clean and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. A stable room environment without significant temperature fluctuations is ideal. For long-term storage, regularly check the tightness of the closure and the visual condition of the product, especially for preparations containing natural oils or active substances.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it as thoroughly as possible and removing any product residue. Then follow the recycling symbol and material designation given in the product parameters table on the Handymade website. According to this information, sort the bottle and cap into the appropriate container for separated waste collection. By following the recommended sorting, you will facilitate the recycling process and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste.
