The transparent plastic bottle with flip-top cap is a practical packaging solution for a wide range of liquid and gel products where convenient and controlled dispensing is important. Thanks to its transparent design, it allows visual inspection of the contents and looks clean, modern and professional for both home and artisan cosmetic production.
The packaging is designed to withstand everyday handling, frequent opening and closing, and to facilitate hygienic dispensing without the need to unscrew the entire cap. The bottle is suitable for filling various types of liquids and emulsions, to which it provides a stable and reliable plastic solution.
This bottle is supplied with a specific type of cap, but within the Handymade range you will also find other containers with different dispensing options, such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators. Combinations of containers and caps that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing accuracy, behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, and long-term stability during storage.

When designing formulations and planning filling, we recommend basing your decisions on this data so that you choose a suitable viscosity, storage method and application type.
Yes, the packaging can be reused for home and artisan use as long as it is in good condition and you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each refilling, it is important to thoroughly clean the bottle and cap and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Disinfection must be carried out in such a way that no residues of the cleaning agent remain in the container, as these could affect the composition or stability of your product.
After emptying the container, we recommend first thoroughly rinsing out any residues of the original product, using a mild hand-washing detergent if necessary. After rinsing with drinking water, allow the bottle to drain and dry. It is then advisable to carry out disinfection with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the alcohol to evaporate completely so that no residues remain in the container and the bottle is ready for refilling.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, it is advisable to place it in sorted waste according to the material designation given in the product parameters and on the packaging. Before recycling, we recommend removing any product residues and, if necessary, rinsing with lukewarm water so that no significant residue remains. Then place the packaging in the appropriate container intended for that type of plastic according to local waste-sorting rules. In this way you support efficient material processing and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
The bottle with flip-top cap is optimal mainly for liquid, light to medium-viscosity products such as emulsions, gels, fluids or thin oils. For very thick creams, pastes or balms, dispensing through the narrow opening may be uncomfortable or incomplete. In such a case, it may be more appropriate to use jars, pots or packaging with a pump, which make handling thicker formulations easier.
