The dropper in the cap should first be mechanically rinsed of residues of the original product with warm water and a mild detergent, and then thoroughly rinsed with clean water. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the plastic parts by immersing or rinsing them with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %) and allowing them to dry completely before refilling. It is always appropriate to check whether, after cleaning, the dropper doses evenly and without leakage.

Dark glass is suitable for packaging preparations that are sensitive to light, such as certain vegetable oils, essential oils or herbal extracts intended for external use. The colour of the glass helps limit light penetration, thereby supporting the preservation of the quality, scent and colour of the product during storage. To achieve optimal stability, however, we recommend storing the bottles away from direct sunlight and at a stable, appropriate temperature.

For thin toners or aqueous solutions, it may be more suitable to combine the bottle with a spray pump. For more viscous products, packaging with a pump is sometimes more practical. If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the collection container intended for glass, while the plastic cap with dropper must be separated according to the relevant plastic fraction, in line with local waste-sorting rules. Before handing it over for separate collection, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove product residues in order to facilitate its further processing in the recycling process.
