Glass bottle – dropper bottle represents a reliable packaging for various liquid and partially viscous preparations where an accurate dose and the protection of sensitive contents are important. High-quality glass ensures product stability, minimal interaction with the contents and a professional appearance of the final pack, suitable for artisanal production as well as smaller batches.
Thanks to the durable glass, this bottle is suitable for filling cosmetic solutions, serums, tinctures, extracts or other specialized blends that require safe storage and convenient dosing. The smooth surface of the container allows easy labelling and branding, which facilitates the professional presentation of your products.
The stand-alone glass dropper bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected in the product detail. You can combine it with screw caps, a dropper, a spray pump or a practical applicator so that the dosing matches the specific type of formulation.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a higher content of alcohol, acids, essential oils or with atypical viscosity.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging after use, its environmentally friendly disposal by recycling is recommended, according to the material composition indicated in the parameter table for the product. The glass part can usually be placed in the glass separate-collection system; any plastic or metal parts of the closure are sorted according to local collection rules. Before sending for recycling, it is advisable to remove any residual product from the packaging.
Yes, the glass dropper bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. For disinfection you can use products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to proceed with refilling.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it well with drinking water and then disinfecting it with an alcohol solution. It is practical to use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or vegetable ethanol, which help remove possible impurities and micro-organisms. After disinfection, allow the packaging to drain and dry completely so that no moisture remains, which could affect the stability of your formulation.
For formulations with a higher content of essential oils or alcohol, glass packaging is a very suitable choice, because glass is stable in contact with these substances. However, pay increased attention to the choice of closure, dropper or spray pump – not all plastic components withstand long-term contact with highly concentrated oils or alcohol. Therefore, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test: fill a smaller amount of product, observe sealing, dosing, any softening or discolouration of the plastic parts, and only then fill the full volume.

The glass part is usually just emptied, freed from coarse product residues and placed in the appropriate glass container.
