The glass bottle – dropper bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters. It can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for precise dosing of liquids or oils. The packaging and cap combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass dropper bottle is also suitable for small and start-up brands, because it enables professional packaging of smaller batches of products without the need for special equipment. Thanks to the practical cap and compatibility with various dosing systems, it easily adapts to the type of formulation you produce. Before choosing, we recommend checking the product parameters and, if necessary, preparing a trial series in order to verify the dosing and behaviour of the specific formula in this packaging.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before every new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for new filling. From a hygiene point of view, we do not recommend combining in the same packaging products with very different uses (e.g. technical and cosmetic formulations).
Before reuse, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a remainder of a suitable solvent (for example with water or alcohol depending on the type of the original contents), then washing it with a mild cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly. After mechanical cleaning, disinfection is necessary – it is practical to rinse or spray with an alcohol solution, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Then let the glass dry naturally in a clean environment. In the case of any residual odours or visible impurities, we recommend not using the packaging for further filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it responsibly according to the materials listed in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, in a glass recycling container. The cap and any seal are sorted according to the type of plastic or composite material indicated in the parameter table – in case of doubt, it is better to consult local waste sorting rules. Before recycling, we recommend removing product residues and labels to the extent that is reasonably possible.
