The glass medicine bottle represents a professional and reliable packaging intended for filling various liquid and powdered preparations, especially in the field of cosmetics, pharmaceutical inspirations and homemade blends. Thanks to high-quality glass, the bottle is stable, resistant to normal use and suitable for the safe storage of sensitive formulations. The smooth inner surface of the glass minimizes interaction with the contents, which is important for products containing active substances, perfumes or oils. The glass medicine bottle is suitable for most common homemade and semi-professional cosmetic recipes, such as facial toners, oils, tonics or hair treatments. Before filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and, if necessary, also disinfecting it in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and extend the shelf life of the product.
The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to wash the bottle thoroughly, remove residues of the original contents and then disinfect it, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after it has completely dried is the bottle ready for refilling, which reduces the risk of deterioration of the new formulation.
When filling your own recipes, we recommend clearly labelling each bottle with a label containing the product name, composition and date of manufacture. Always store the glass medicine bottle with the closure tightly sealed, in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. This will support the stability of the active substances and preserve the sensory properties of the product throughout its use.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, empty its contents and, according to local waste management regulations, place it in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. In most sorting systems, glass packaging is placed in the container designated for glass, and it is advisable to remove any product residues and, where possible, also the labels. In this way, you support efficient material recycling and a reduction in the amount of municipal waste.
