Is this glass jar suitable for both home and professional use?

Yes, the jar is suitable for small home batches as well as for smaller professional series of cosmetics. Thanks to the high-quality glass and sealing lid, it is suitable for packaging balms, ointments, creams or test samples. For professional use we recommend following internal hygiene procedures and working in the cleanest possible environment.

Can I reuse this jar repeatedly for different products?

The jar can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the container and the lid must be thoroughly cleaned mechanically and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after it is completely dry is the jar ready for the next filling.

How should I fill the jar correctly in order to minimise the risk of product contamination?

When filling, we recommend working with clean, disinfected tools (spatulas, scoops, funnels) and minimising contact of the contents with your hands. It is advisable to fill the jar at temperatures that are in accordance with the raw materials used, and to close it immediately after filling. For products that are sensitive to oxidation, it is beneficial to keep the headspace between the contents and the lid as small as possible.

How should I clean and maintain the jar so that it remains in good condition?

The glass jar is best first cleaned mechanically of residual product, then washed with a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly rinsed with clean water. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surfaces and the lid with an alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % ethanol of plant origin. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated and the jar is dry is it ready for further use.

How can I dispose of or recycle this glass jar in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend that, after emptying and basic cleaning, you sort it into waste according to the material composition listed in the parameter table for the product. The glass part can usually be handed over to the appropriate glass collection, while the lid goes into sorted waste according to the type of plastic or composite material.
