The glass jar with white lid is a universal packaging solution suitable for various types of cosmetic products, balms and solid as well as semi-solid blends, where protection of the formula and packaging stability are important. Smooth glass without undesirable interactions with the contents is ideal for packaging sensitive formulations that require hygienic and aesthetic packaging with a professional appearance.
This practical jar forms a reliable container for products where precise dosing with fingers or a spatula is important – for example butters, creams, ointments, scrubs or samples. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and a sturdy closure, the contents are protected from impurities from the external environment as well as from unwanted leakage of the product.
This jar is supplied in combination with the corresponding lid, creating a complete set ready for filling and use. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging will cooperate reliably with your specific product in the long term.

Yes, this glass jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, we recommend cleaning the packaging thoroughly and then disinfecting it with a suitable agent, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. In this way you minimise the risk of microbial contamination and help maintain the stability of your product.
The glass jar is ideal for thicker and semi-solid cosmetic products that are applied with fingers or a spatula – for example lip balms, body butters, ointments, facial creams, scrubs or masks. Thanks to its sturdy construction, it is also suitable for smaller amounts of concentrated preparations such as intensive treatments or trial samples.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend, after the contents have been used up, emptying it as much as possible and removing any product residues. Place the glass part of the packaging in the appropriate container for sorted glass waste according to the rules in your municipality. The lid must be sorted according to the material specified in the product parameters – after separating it from the glass, place it in the container intended for that type of material. By following these principles, you support efficient recycling and waste reduction.
Before starting filling, we recommend performing your own compatibility test with your formulation. Fill several jars with a trial batch of the product, check the sealing of the lid, the behaviour of the packaging during storage in both vertical and horizontal positions, and observe any changes in consistency or scent over time. In this way you verify whether the packaging is suitable in terms of tightness, practical use and long-term stability of the product.
