The glass bottle with aluminium closure represents an elegant and professional packaging suitable for various types of liquid and oil-based formulations. High-quality glass in combination with a tightly fitting cap ensures reliable sealing of the contents and helps maintain their stability during storage and use.
Thanks to the durable glass, this bottle is ideal for packaging more sensitive preparations, for which protection against external influences and minimisation of contact with plastic are important. The smooth surface of the bottle also makes labelling easier and helps create a unified visual style for your brand.
The opaque glass naturally helps protect the contents from the effects of light, which is an advantage especially for products prone to oxidation or degradation during prolonged storage.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray dispensers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Glass as a packaging material has very good chemical resistance, therefore the bottle is generally also suitable for oil-based formulations or preparations containing alcohol. For every formulation, however, we recommend carrying out your own stability test – check the tightness of the closure, the behaviour of the contents during storage, and any changes in scent, colour or viscosity over time.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated is the bottle ready for refilling. When switching to another type of product (e.g. from a perfume composition to a facial serum), we recommend using the packaging rather for technical or less sensitive preparations.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to place it in sorted waste collection according to the materials specified in the product parameters. We recommend emptying the glass bottle, wiping off any residues of the contents and placing the container in the bin designated for glass. The aluminium or other metal cap should be unscrewed and recycled according to local rules for sorting metal packaging. For heavily contaminated packaging, follow the instructions of your waste collection company or municipality.
When preparing cosmetic products for sale, it is important to combine high-quality packaging with an appropriate filling and storage method. We recommend working in the cleanest environment possible, using disinfected working tools and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottles before filling (for example using alcohol such as IPA or plant-based ethanol). At the same time, follow the recommendations for testing the stability and microbiological safety of your formulations according to applicable legislation.
