The glass roll-on bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise and hygienic application of cosmetic blends, oils and other liquid products. Thanks to the durable glass and roll-on system, it is ideal for products where targeted, gentle and economical dosing directly onto the skin is important. The dark, opaque design also provides natural protection of sensitive components from light, which contributes to longer stability and quality of the stored contents.
The separate glass vial with roll-on system is designed to be compatible with suitably selected roll-on closures and any additional components according to the parameters specified for the product. When choosing the packaging and accessories, we recommend combining the components directly within the Handymade range, where the standard sets are tested in terms of functionality and tightness. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the particular formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle can be safely used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging, remove residues of the original product and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface is completely dry is the bottle ready for new filling.
The roll-on system is optimal mainly for liquid and low-viscosity products, such as oils, light serums, perfume compositions and diluted aromatherapeutic blends. The ball applicator ensures that the contents are gently spread when in contact with the skin without excessive leaking. For thicker formulations we recommend first testing the smoothness of dosing and, if necessary, adjusting the proportion of the oil or diluting component in order to ensure comfortable application.
You can first rinse the glass part of the bottle with a suitable soapy or detergent solution, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and let it drain. After mechanical cleaning we recommend disinfecting the interior of the packaging by rinsing or spraying using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-based ethanol. Metal or plastic parts of the roll-on mechanism should be cleaned gently so as not to damage the seal or the ball. Before refilling, make sure that all parts are completely dry and free of residues of cleaning agents.
If you decide not to re-use the packaging, we recommend, after cleaning, sorting it into separated waste according to the material. The glass part of the bottle can generally be placed in a container intended for glass, while the plastic or metal components of the closure and roll-on mechanism should be separated according to local waste-sorting rules. Before handing it over for collection, remove residues of the contents and labels to the extent that is practically possible. The specific method of sorting may differ according to local regulations, so follow the instructions of your collection system and the information given in the product parameters.
Yes, when properly closed, the bottle is also suitable for everyday carrying with you. The roll-on system together with the closure is designed to minimize the risk of leakage of the contents during transport. However, we recommend always checking that the closure is tightly screwed on and, when travelling, placing the bottle in an upright position or in a small protective case or pouch. This will reduce the risk of mechanical damage to the glass and ensure greater comfort when handling.
The simplest way to select suitable packaging is to use the extended filter within the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find at the top of the page the option to filter according to key parameters, such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the range specifically to bottles, jars or pots that correspond to the required properties of your product and to the filling technology.
