The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution that is particularly suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations. The dark, opaque glass helps reduce light penetration to the sensitive contents, which makes this packaging popular for products that require stable conditions during storage. The combination of a reliable glass medicine bottle and a practical dropper enables convenient and controlled application for home production as well as smaller artisan batches.
The smooth surface of the bottle is ideal for labelling and professional product marking. The high-quality finish of the glass and the closure is designed to minimise the risk of leakage of the contents when used correctly. This type of packaging is the preferred choice for manufacturers of cosmetics and other liquid blends where dosing accuracy, aesthetics and long-term stability of the preparation are important.
This glass bottle with dropper is designed as a practical combination of packaging and dosing. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing accuracy and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, presence of alcohol, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before the first filling we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the dropper (rinsing with a suitable detergent and thoroughly rinsing with drinking water) and then disinfecting them. Alcohol-based preparations are suitable for disinfection, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. In our range you will find, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then proceed to filling.
Yes, the glass bottle and the dropper can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling it is important to always clean the packaging first and then disinfect it – we recommend using alcohol-based disinfectants such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Make sure that the bottle and the parts of the dropper are not left contaminated with residues of the previous product, especially when changing the type of product or fragrance. If there are signs of damage (cracks, loosened sealing), it is better to replace the packaging.
The glass bottle with dropper is ideal for oil serums, facial or hair oils, concentrated extracts, active substances and other liquid preparations that are applied in small amounts drop by drop. It is also suitable for thin solutions or fluid emulsions that have sufficiently low viscosity to be dosed through the dropper pipette. For very thick preparations, gels or emulsions with high viscosity, dosing with the dropper may be limited, therefore we recommend performing a trial filling and dosing test before final use.
Store the products in the bottle tightly closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. The dark glass does help protect the contents from light, but long-term exposure to high temperatures can negatively affect the stability of the cosmetic formulation. Do not overfill the packaging above the recommended filling level and when handling, prevent contamination of the neck and the dropper in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information stated in the product parameter sheet. The glass part of the bottle can usually be emptied, possibly rinsed of product residues and placed in the container designated for glass. The dropper consists of several materials (e.g. plastic, rubber, metal), which should be separated where possible and placed in the appropriate collection bins according to the type of material, or handed over at a collection yard. Before sorting, we recommend checking the specific recycling recommendations given for the product on the Handymade website and adapting to the waste-sorting systems in your municipality.
When selecting packaging, we recommend using the extended filter that you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, jars, sprayers, etc.). In the extended filter you can sort the packaging clearly according to several criteria – especially according to neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can easily choose such a combination of bottle and closure that will best match the consistency, volume and design of your specific product.
