Clear glass allows for immediate visual inspection of the contents, making this packaging ideal for products where colour, clarity or consistency are important. The well-crafted neck ensures a reliable seal in combination with appropriate closures, dropper systems or spray pumps, which makes it a practical and universal bottle for cosmetics and artisanal production.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), according to the selected parameters in the range. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, in order to ensure the long-term stability and safety of the product.

Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, however, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in the product’s consistency or odour.
Before reuse, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a residual medium compatible with the original contents (for example a plant oil for oil-based products), then washing it in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is necessary to disinfect the internal surfaces and the neck with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based, and only then refill the bottle.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. Glass packaging is usually intended to be placed in the glass container (according to the local colour code for clear glass). Before disposal, remove any product residues and, if possible, separate the cap or dispenser, which belongs in the appropriate container according to its material (plastics, metal, etc.). Specific recycling recommendations are always based on the material information given in the product parameters.
