Milky glass bottle – dosing medicine bottle represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise and hygienic dispensing of cosmetic and laboratory preparations. The milky glass creates a visually clean and elegant appearance, while helping to protect more sensitive formulations from light and supporting the stability of their active ingredients. Thanks to the high-quality glass, this bottle is ideal for packing liquid emulsions, serums, gels and other products where controlled dosing and reliable protection of the contents are important.
The bottle is suitable for liquid and semi-liquid preparations such as serums, light emulsions, gels or liquid creams. For very thick creams, we recommend choosing a suitable type of closure or pump to ensure smooth and comfortable dosing. We always recommend testing the specific formulation in a small trial amount to verify whether the selected dosing system corresponds to the viscosity of the product.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-based ethanol. Only after it has completely dried is the bottle ready for further safe use. When switching to a different type of formulation (e.g. from oil-based to water-based), we recommend particularly careful cleaning and disinfection.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle in clean warm water with a mild detergent, rinsing it thoroughly so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain, and then allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the internal space and neck with alcohol, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Only then do we recommend filling the bottle with the finished product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. As a rule, the glass container can be placed in the glass recycling bin after emptying and basic cleaning. The closure or dosing element is usually made of a different material (plastic, metal) and should be sorted separately according to the material type indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. Before recycling, remove any product residues and, if required by the collection system, any labels.
