Yes, the bottle and the spray pump can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling, but we always recommend observing strict hygiene principles. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly, ideally using highly concentrated alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant‑based ethanol. After rinsing and drying, it is advisable to perform a short test spray with a trial dose of the product in order to verify smooth spraying and sealing of the mechanism.

For which type of consistency is this spray pump most suitable?

The spray pump is optimal for thin watery solutions, hydrolats, facial and hair tonics or fine mists without a significant oily or gel fraction. Thick emulsions or oils with high viscosity may reduce the quality of spraying and cause uneven application. For new formulations we always recommend making a trial filling and testing the smoothness of dosing as well as the fineness of the mist produced.

How should I proceed when cleaning the bottle and spray pump before further use?

After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and letting it dry completely. To ensure hygienic safety, it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface and the neck of the packaging, for example using isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant‑based ethanol. For the spray pump, we recommend pumping through a small amount of disinfectant solution and then clean water, so that the internal capillary and the nozzle are also rinsed through.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend its ecological disposal in accordance with local waste‑sorting rules. In most cases, the glass bottle can be placed in the container designated for glass after removing product residues and rinsing. The spray pump, which is composed of several materials (plastic, metal spring, etc.), is usually disposed of in mixed waste or sorted plastic waste according to local regulations. We recommend adapting the exact method of sorting to the material information given in the parameters of the specific product in the e‑shop, as these reflect the recommended recycling procedures for the given type of packaging.
