The glass bottle with safety cap represents a reliable and elegant packaging for sensitive liquid formulations. It is particularly suitable for precise dosing of products where protection of the contents, controlled dispensing and secure closure are important. Thanks to the material properties of glass, the packaging is stable, chemically resistant and suitable for both professional and artisan use in smaller as well as larger batches.
Glossy opaque glass in combination with a ribbed safety closure helps protect sensitive components from light and external factors, which contributes to longer stability and shelf life of the composition. The bottle is ideal for filling cosmetic preparations, active concentrates or technical solutions where protection of the formula and user comfort are important.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the products on Handymade.sk. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – in particular of sealing, dosing accuracy and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

Glass packaging is generally a very stable and chemically resistant material, therefore it is also suitable for formulations with a higher proportion of active substances or alcohol. Before final implementation, we recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify the compatibility of the bottle and closure with your specific formula (viscosity, sedimentation, sealing and any discolouration of the contents).
The bottle can be reused provided basic hygiene rules are observed and the packaging is thoroughly cleaned between individual fillings. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be carefully washed, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured. Disinfection helps minimize microbiological risk and prevent influencing the fragrance or stability of the new formulation.
We recommend storing finished products in the bottle well closed, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Stable room temperature and protection from light support longer durability of active substances, fragrance and colour. During transport, it is advisable to protect the packaging from shocks and sudden temperature fluctuations so that neither the glass nor the closure is damaged.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation given in the product parameters. The glass container can usually be handed over to the appropriate sorted glass waste after emptying and roughly cleaning off product residues. The closure is usually made of a different material than the bottle itself, so separate it before disposal and recycle it according to its material (for example as plastic or mixed waste in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations).
