The glass vial with black aluminium lid is a practical and professional container for the safe packaging of liquid products and mixtures with a light consistency, where clean filling, material stability and reliable closure are important. Thanks to the dark glass, it naturally reduces light transmission and helps to protect the contents from UV radiation, which is advantageous for oils, extracts and formulations with sensitive active ingredients. The packaging is also food grade, so it is also suitable for selected products intended for internal use (subject to hygiene and its own compatibility test).
Combinations of packaging and closures, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, this is food grade packaging, so it is also suitable for liquid nutritional supplements, tinctures and extracts intended for internal use. For each formulation, we recommend that you observe filling hygiene and carry out your own seal test to verify the behaviour of the packaging and closure in practice.
Dark glass naturally reduces light transmission and helps limit UV exposure, which is beneficial for oils, extracts and products with active ingredients. For stability of contents, it is advisable to store the product out of direct sunlight.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before filling, the packaging should be cleaned and then disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002) - for example with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or Ethanol 96%. Allow the packaging to dry completely before filling.
Ensure a clean thread with no product residue, correct tightening of the cap and we also recommend a short leak test (turn, shake gently, check after a few hours). Secondary protection (e.g. protective bag or filler) is advisable during transport, especially for aromatic and more volatile ingredients.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that you recycle it. Once the glass vial has been emptied and cleaned, put it in a glass container. Separate the aluminium cap and sort it into the metal collection; if plastic parts are part of the cap and can be separated, sort them separately into the plastic collection according to the local sorting rules.
