The glossy black glass bottle with black aluminium lid is an elegant and functional container designed for the safe storage of liquid products in smaller volumes. The opaque glass naturally helps to protect sensitive contents from light and UV rays, which is especially important for active cosmetic ingredients. The glass vial is also of food-grade quality as declared in the enclosed Packaging Quality Attestation and is therefore also suitable for selected food applications when hygiene principles are observed.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behavior in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass vial has the food-grade quality declared in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate, therefore it is suitable for tinctures, extracts or liquid nutritional supplements for internal use, for example. We recommend that you always test the compatibility of the specific contents with the cap and the method of use.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before the first and each refill, we recommend washing, thoroughly rinsing and disinfecting (ALK001 / ALK002) the packaging, for example with IPA 99 or ethanol 96, and then allowing all parts to dry completely.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Sort the glass part into a glass container. Sort the cap according to the material in the metal collection; if it contains plastic parts (e.g. the liner), it is ideal to separate them and sort them separately in the plastic bin. Empty and rinse the container as necessary before discarding.

We recommend storing the container tightly closed, ideally upright, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Opaque glass helps protect the contents from light, but for sensitive formulations, it is also advisable to follow the recommended storage conditions for the specific product.
