The glass bottle, black glossy, nasal spray is a practical container for hygienic and accurate spraying of liquid formulations. The opaque glass naturally helps to protect the contents from light and contributes to UV protection, which is particularly useful for more sensitive actives, extracts and oil blends. The glass is material stable and neutral, so it promotes the preservation of formulation properties during storage and use. This packaging is food grade and is therefore also suitable for selected liquid products intended for internal use, provided that hygiene principles are observed.
The packaging and closure combinations, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend to perform your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Opaque glass restricts light access and naturally helps to protect the contents from UV rays. This is advantageous for formulations where light can affect the stability, fragrance or colour of the product.
For applicators intended for contact with mucous membranes, we recommend working as hygienically as possible, filling into a clean container and avoiding contamination of the nozzle. It is advisable to check the quality of the spray and the seal with a real product before putting it into use.
Yes, due to the food grade quality, the packaging is also suitable for selected liquid products intended for internal use such as tinctures, extracts or liquid nutritional supplements. When filling, we recommend that you observe the hygiene principles and check the compatibility with the specific contents.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before filling, the packaging should be cleaned and disinfected with IPA 99% (ALK001) or ethanol 96% ( ALK002) and then allowed to dry completely.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that you recycle it. After emptying the glass bottle, clean it and take it to the glass collection. Separate the plastic parts (e.g. spray applicator and caps) and sort them into the plastic collection according to the rules in your municipality.
