High-quality glass in combination with the dropper enables comfortable, controlled and hygienic application even of highly concentrated formulations. The dark, opaque design also helps limit the penetration of light into the contents, which is advantageous especially for sensitive active ingredients and aromatic blends.
Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is suitable for most oil serums and liquid concentrates that need to be dosed drop by drop. For very viscous oils or gel textures, we recommend first testing the flow through the dropper and, if necessary, choosing another type of dosing (for example a pump or another dropper bottle) so that dosing is comfortable and even.
Before the first filling, we recommend working in the cleanest environment possible and observing hygiene principles. It is advisable to check the bottle and the dropper, remove any dust particles and, depending on the nature of the product, carry out a trial filling with a small volume in order to verify dosing and material compatibility with the formulation. For professional production, we recommend having your own documented validation procedure for filling and storage.
The bottle is suitable for repeated use if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging, remove residues of the previous product and then disinfect it with a suitable preparation. For disinfecting packaging, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, which you can find in the Handymade range – for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature and only then refill it.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the glass container after emptying and basic rinsing. The dropper is a combined packaging made of several materials (for example plastic, rubber, possibly metal), so we recommend separating it from the glass and sorting it according to local waste management rules. Always follow the pictograms and information given for the specific product and local recycling recommendations.
