Glass bottle with dropper is a practical packaging material for formulations where precise and controlled dosing is important. It is particularly suitable for packing liquid products that require hygienic, safe and comfortable use in everyday application. Thanks to the high-quality glass and dropper, this packaging is ideal for both more viscous and more fluid mixtures that need to be dosed drop by drop or in small quantities.
The packaging enables convenient and aesthetic filling of cosmetic and other specialized preparations. Dark, opaque glass helps protect the contents against the effects of light, which is especially important for products sensitive to UV radiation and oxidation. A bottle chosen in this way supports longer stability and quality of the contents during storage and use.
This bottle with dropper is created on Handymade as a functional combination of packaging and dosing component. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular to verify sealing, smoothness of dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, presence of acids or essential oils).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused with gentle handling, as long as it is not mechanically damaged or contaminated to such an extent that it cannot be safely cleaned. However, before each refilling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, technical alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, e.g. the products IPA 99 % isopropylalkohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After application, it is advisable to let the packaging dry completely and only then refill it.
Before repeated use we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it well with drinking water and, if necessary, also with distilled water to reduce the risk of residual minerals. Subsequently, it is advisable to apply disinfection using an alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropylalkohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which are applied to the inside of the packaging and to all parts of the dropper, left to act briefly and then allowed to evaporate. For latex or rubber parts of the dropper it is necessary to ensure gentle cleaning according to the material type in order to avoid damage.
To preserve the quality of the filled product we recommend storing the bottle in a dry place, at a stable room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Dark glass does help protect the contents from light, but long-term exposure to high temperatures or sudden temperature changes can negatively affect the stability of the formulation. It is appropriate always to close the bottle carefully with the dropper to limit contact with atmospheric oxygen and moisture and to reduce the risk of contamination during use.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass sorting according to the colour coding used in the municipality concerned. The dropper consists of several parts (glass, plastic, possibly rubber), so it is appropriate to disassemble it where possible and place the individual materials into the relevant fractions or dispose of them in mixed waste if the local sorting system does not allow separate processing. Before handing the packaging over for recycling, it is advisable to remove product residues and labels in accordance with local waste collection recommendations.
To select suitable packaging you can use the extended filter, which is available at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the extended filter you can adjust the display of products according to several parameters, such as type and neck diameter, overall size and shape of the packaging, colour of the material or the material itself (for example glass or plastic). Thanks to this you can quickly narrow the offer down to packaging that will best correspond to the intended use, the technical requirements of your formulation and the visual style of your brand.
