The glass bottle with a glossy black surface and white-silver spray pump represents an elegant and functional packaging for carefully prepared liquid formulations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise spray mechanism, it is suitable for filling products where gentle and even dosing is important. The dark, opaque glass also helps protect the light-sensitive contents against external influences during storage and use.
This glass bottle with spray pump forms a practical combination ready for immediate filling and use. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to ensure optimal performance for the particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass packaging is generally very stable towards commonly used cosmetic ingredients, including alcohol and essential oils, and therefore the bottle is also suitable for formulations containing them. However, we recommend always testing the specific formula in a smaller quantity to verify compatibility with the selected spray pump (sealing, smoothness of spraying and long-term behaviour of the mechanism).
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend emptying the bottle and the spray pump as thoroughly as possible, cleaning them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol (for example with products available on Handymade: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after complete drying and airing is the bottle ready for refilling.
It is advisable to first rinse the glass part mechanically with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly with drinking water and then disinfect with alcohol (for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). We recommend repeatedly flushing the spray pump with water and then with alcohol by pressing the mechanism several times so that the inner capillary is cleaned. Before the next use, let all parts dry completely.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. After emptying, the glass bottle should be placed in a container designated for glass, while the plastic and metal parts of the spray pump must be separated and sorted in accordance with the local rules for collecting plastics and metals. Before recycling, always remove any product residues and rinse the packaging at least lightly.
