The glass vial with nasal spray is a professional packaging component designed for precise and hygienic dosing of liquid preparations into the nasal area. Thanks to the high-quality processing of the glass and the functional spray mechanism, it is suitable for filling solutions, serums and special formulations where controlled and gentle spraying is important. The matte glass also supports the premium appearance of the product and helps protect more sensitive contents from external influences.
The vial is supplied with a nasal spray applicator that is engineered for precise and comfortable dosing. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass container is generally a stable and inert packaging material that is often used for formulations with increased demands on purity and chemical resistance. However, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test of the specific solution with the packaging – checking the behaviour after filling, during storage and during repeated dosing. The test should include checking the sealing, the functionality of the sprayer and any changes in the appearance or scent of the product.
Before filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the vial and the nasal applicator in accordance with hygiene principles. We recommend first mechanical cleaning (rinsing and, if necessary, washing with a suitable cleaning agent), followed by the use of disinfectant alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely on a clean surface and only then fill them with the final solution.
The packaging can be reused provided proper hygiene principles are followed. For repeated use, it is essential to always completely empty the vial and the nasal sprayer, clean them thoroughly and then disinfect them using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after all parts have completely dried can you safely refill the bottle with a new formulation. In the case of sensitive products, we recommend considering a limited number of reuses from a hygiene point of view.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local regulations. The glass vial can, after emptying and basic rinsing of product residues, be sorted into a container intended for glass according to colour or local instructions. The nasal applicator, which consists of plastic and possibly metal parts, must be separated from the glass and sorted according to the material designation given in the product parameters, or classified as municipal waste if the local recycling system does not accept the specific type of plastic.
