Is this glass bottle suitable for products containing oils and active substances?

Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for most oily, drop and active preparations intended for external use. Glass is a stable packaging material and the black matte design helps to minimize the effect of light on the contents. Nevertheless, we recommend testing each new formulation in a small quantity to verify the long-term stability and behaviour of the product in the specific packaging.

How should I prepare the bottle before first use or refilling?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic rules are observed. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the closure and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol) or plant ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after complete evaporation of the alcohol and drying is the bottle ready for a new filling.

How should I correctly dispose of or recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the parameter table for the product. The glass bottle is normally sorted into the container intended for glass, while the plastic cap belongs in sorted waste according to the type of plastic given in the parameters. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the packaging, wipe off any product residues and separate the individual parts (glass and plastic) from each other.

Can I use this bottle when travelling or carrying it in a handbag?
