The glass bottle made from high‑quality packaging glass represents a professional and aesthetic container suitable for a wide range of liquid products. Thanks to its durable material, it is ideal for packaging cosmetic preparations, serums, oils or concentrated blends, where the stability and purity of the contents are important. Together with a screw cap, it creates a practical packaging system that enables safe storage, transport and dosing in small quantities.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closing and dispensing systems according to the parameters selected in the e‑shop. In practice, they can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray tops or practical applicators, making it easy to adapt the packaging to the product type and the desired method of use. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass container can be used repeatedly, provided that hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is essential to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new formulation.
After emptying the container, we recommend rinsing the product residues thoroughly with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for glass. Then rinse the bottle with clean water, let it dry completely and only then disinfect it with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %). Before refilling, make sure that the inner surface is dry and free of any residues of the cleaner or the original product.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it as far as possible and removing any remaining contents. Then place it in a container designated for glass sorting according to the collection rules in your area. Glass containers usually belong in the container for separated glass waste, while plastic or combined closures are sorted separately according to their material. By recycling glass, you conserve resources and support a more sustainable approach to packaging materials.
The glass bottle is particularly suitable for concentrated and high‑value formulations where an accurate dose and a representative appearance of the packaging are important. It is used for packaging facial and body oils, serums, intensive treatments, aromatherapeutic and massage oils, herbal infusions intended for external use and small laboratory samples. The choice of a specific closure (screw cap, dropper, spray top, etc.) allows the dosing system to be adapted to the particular product.
