Green Glass Bottle, Glossy White Dropper, 30 ml

This green glass bottle with a volume of 30 ml and a white glossy dropper is designed for facial serums, oil blends, tinctures and concentrates that are dispensed drop by drop. Green glass blocks part of the light, which helps contents that are sensitive to light, such as plant oils or diluted essential oil blends. Glass does not react with oils or alcohol, so the bottle is suitable for water-based, oil-based and alcohol-based contents.

The set is supplied as a bottle and dropper together, so you do not need to look for a closure with the right neck. The white head on green glass creates a contrast that stands out especially in a series of identical bottles.

What it is suitable for

• Facial and hair serums – you dispense a small amount by the drop onto your palm or directly onto the skin.
• Oil blends and treatment oils – oils for the face, cuticles or beard, where a few drops are enough.
• Diluted essential oils and fragrance oils – blends in a carrier oil that are dispensed by the drop. We recommend testing the suitability of the dropper for more concentrated blends beforehand.
• Tinctures and alcohol extracts – glass does not react with alcohol, and the dropper lets you dispense the tincture into water or onto a cotton pad.
• Samples and test batches – the small volume is suitable for stability tests as well as for gift or trial packs.

How to use the set

The dropper consists of a glass tube with a silicone head and a plastic thread. It screws onto the neck of a bottle with an 18/410 neck finish. Squeezing the head draws the contents into the tube, and the drops are then released one by one. The length of the dropper is matched to this bottle, so you can also reach the remainder at the bottom.

Nominal and total volume

The bottle is designed to be filled with 30 ml, which is its nominal volume. The total brimful volume listed in the parameters is larger, because it also includes the space up to the neck. This difference serves as a reserve for the submerged tube of the dropper and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. It should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If it is overfilled, the contents are pushed out around the thread when the dropper is screwed on.

Good to know

Before the first filling, wash and disinfect the bottle and the dropper, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and let them dry completely. Residual water in an oil-based or anhydrous product reduces its stability. The same applies to repeated use. Rinse the silicone head and the tube of the dropper thoroughly so that no previous contents remain in them.

Glass withstands higher temperatures, but not sudden changes in temperature. Let a hot emulsion or oil phase cool to at least lukewarm before filling. The silicone and plastic of the dropper may soften or absorb fragrance during prolonged contact with undiluted essential oils or solvents. For such contents, we recommend testing the behaviour of the dropper with your specific formulation beforehand.

After use, the bottle belongs in glass recycling. The dropper is made of several materials, so separate it from the bottle before recycling.
