Glass bottle, green, white sprayer, 30 ml

A small glass bottle with a sprayer for 30 ml of content, ready to be filled with toner, facial mist, refreshing body or hair spray, or an alcohol-based perfume water. Green glass filters part of the light, so contents with essential oils, plant extracts or fragrances retain their colour and scent for longer. The set consists of a glass vial and a plastic sprayer with a screw fitting. Both parts are declared suitable for contact with cosmetics.

A volume of 30 ml corresponds to a sample, a travel pack or a product used up within a few weeks. It is also suitable for trial batches when developing your own formula, where filling a large bottle makes no sense.

What the set is suitable for

Toners and facial mists – aqueous formulas with hydrolat, glycerin or water-soluble active ingredients are applied evenly with the sprayer and without hand contact.
Refreshing sprays – for body, hair or linen, including alcohol-based formulas that glass will not affect.
Perfume waters and fragrance samples – the low volume and small dose per press are well suited for testing compositions.
Hand sanitising sprays – alcohol formulas in glass retain their scent and do not react with the packaging.

How to work with the set

The sprayer delivers approximately 0.13 ml per press. It produces a fine mist suitable for both face and hair. Thicker or oily contents may clog the nozzle or dose unevenly, so aqueous and alcohol-based formulas with low viscosity are recommended for the sprayer. With light oil sprays, test the nozzle behaviour with the specific formulation before filling the entire batch.

The bottle is filled to the nominal volume, not to the neck. The nominal volume is the quantity for which the packaging is intended under normal filling conditions. The total volume to the rim is the physical capacity right up to the neck, and the difference between them provides a reserve for the sprayer tube and for expansion of the contents with temperature changes. When the sprayer is screwed on, the tube pushes some of the contents upwards, so an overfilled bottle will overflow.

Before the first fill, wash the bottle, rinse it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow it to dry completely. Rinse the sprayer with clean water and press it several times without content to expel any water from the tube.

What is good to know

Glass does not react with alcohol or essential oils, making it a safer choice than plastic for fragrance and alcohol-based formulas. The polypropylene sprayer withstands standard cosmetic contents. With a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, check over time that the valve flexibility and seal do not change.

The set is intended for cosmetic use. Neither the bottle nor the sprayer has food-contact certification, so it is not suitable for household oils, syrups or food extracts.

The bottle can be reused. Once empty, wash it with warm water and soap, or disinfect it, and refill. Clean the sprayer by rinsing with water and spraying a few times without content. For fragrance residue in the tube, a brief rinse with alcohol helps. Glass goes in the glass recycling collection; the sprayer goes with plastics.

Glass does not tolerate sudden temperature changes. Do not pour hot water or hot contents into a cold bottle; allow them to cool to room temperature first.
