Product description
Glass bottle, green, white-gold dropper, 30 ml is a complete packaging and closure set for dispensing liquid preparations drop by drop. Green glass reduces light exposure to the contents, helping to protect oils, serums and alcohol extracts that lose quality faster in light. The dropper allows you to measure an exact amount without spilling and without finger contact with the contents. This is useful with concentrated preparations where dosage is one to several drops.
The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products. It is not declared for contact with food. The bottle has the shape of a vial with a threaded neck that the dropper fits onto tightly, so the set functions as a single unit without the need to purchase additional parts.
How the set works
- Light protection – green glass transmits less light than clear glass, so UV-sensitive contents retain their colour, fragrance and efficacy for longer. This is not complete blackout, so store the bottle away from direct sunlight regardless.
- Precise dosing – the dropper with a glass tube and soft bulb draws up the contents by squeezing and releasing. It dispenses drop by drop, which suits facial serums, oil blends for the face or cuticles, and concentrates that are diluted or added to other cosmetics.
- Chemically stable glass – glass does not react with oils, alcohol or aqueous solutions and does not absorb fragrances. The bottle is therefore suitable for aromatic preparations and can be reused with different contents.
- Dropper length matched to the bottle – the tube reaches almost to the bottom, so you can draw up the last of the contents without tilting the bottle.
Nominal and total volume
The bottle is intended to be filled to the nominal volume of 30 ml. The total volume to the rim is greater, as the glass extends up to the neck. This difference is not a defect but a necessary margin. Once the dropper is screwed in, the glass tube takes up some space, and the contents need room to expand with temperature changes. If you fill the bottle to the brim, the contents will overflow through the neck when the dropper is inserted, contaminating the thread and reducing the seal.
Fill to the nominal volume, not to the brim. With a dropper this matters more than with a standard cap, as the tube pushes some of the contents upward.
Suitable for products such as
- facial serums and oil serums – drop dosing reduces waste and content exposure to air,
- beard oils, nail oils and cuticle oils – the small volume and precise dose match the way they are used,
- blends of essential oils in a carrier oil – green glass protects sensitive components, the dropper dispenses into a diffuser or massage oil,
- cosmetic extracts on an alcohol base – glass does not damage alcohol and does not alter the fragrance of the contents,
- active ingredient concentrates for home cosmetics, where a few drops are added to a finished cream or toner.
For aqueous solutions without preservation, the set is suitable for short-term use only. The dropper comes into contact with air and skin at each use and may contaminate the contents.
What is good to know
Before first filling, wash both the bottle and the dropper, disinfect with alcohol or isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely. Residual water in the tube could dilute an anhydrous oil or disrupt the stability of an emulsion.
Reuse of the glass bottle is straightforward. Before refilling with new contents, disassemble the dropper, flush the tube and bulb by drawing up clean alcohol several times and allow to dry. If the bulb hardens or deforms after prolonged use, replace the dropper.
The dropper material combines a glass tube, a soft silicone bulb and an aluminium closure shell with a plastic insert. With thick oils or concentrated essential oils, we recommend checking how the bulb behaves during prolonged contact with a specific formulation.
Glass does not tolerate sudden temperature changes. Do not pour hot mixtures into the bottle and do not put it in the freezer. Do not heat the filled set, as the contents expand and may force out the dropper.
A label adheres well to the flat section of the bottle body. With oily products, choose an adhesive resistant to grease, otherwise the label will peel off over time.
Closures with the same neck type and other ready-made combinations are available in the Handymade range. For a custom combination, we recommend verifying the seal and dosing with your specific formulation.
Recycling: the bottle is made of glass and belongs in glass waste. The dropper combines multiple materials and is therefore sorted separately from the bottle.
