The green glass bottle with a white-gold dropper is an elegant packaging designed for precise dosing of drop formulations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the practical closure with a dropper system, it is suitable for filling liquid formulations where accurate application and protection of the contents are important. The dark glass helps to protect sensitive ingredients from light, which is important for products with essential oils or other active substances.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the selected category, a filter panel will appear at the top of the page, where you can select by parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to the combination of these filters, you will quickly narrow down the range to packaging that best matches your product and technological requirements.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and its components must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying do we recommend refilling the bottle, in order to ensure the stability and safety of the prepared product.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle and removing any possible manufacturing residues. It is then appropriate to carry out disinfection using alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let all parts of the packaging dry thoroughly at room temperature on a clean surface. When reusing, proceed in the same way in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and degradation of the formulation.
In general, glass as a material is stable and suitable for packaging preparations containing oils, perfumes, essential oils or active substances with higher sensitivity. Coloured glass also helps to reduce light exposure, which can contribute to better stability of sensitive ingredients. Nevertheless, it is always important to test the specific formulation in the selected packaging over a test period, in order to verify long-term compatibility and the stability of the product’s colour, fragrance and consistency.
If you decide not to use the bottle and dropper any further, we recommend placing them in the separate waste collection system according to the material type stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass, while the plastic and any rubber components of the closure should be separated and sorted separately according to local rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove any product residues so that the processing is as efficient as possible.
When using another closure or dosing mechanism, it is important to verify in particular the sealing, uniformity of dosing and the long-term behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation. It is recommended to fill a test sample, leave it for a certain time under standard and slightly stressed conditions (transport, handling, storage) and check for any product leakage, change in the stiffness of the closure or impact on the consistency and fragrance. Such a test will help you confirm that the chosen combination of packaging and closure is suitable for your product even in long-term use.
