Square glass bottle with black cap represents an elegant and professional packaging suitable for both cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations. High-quality glass is a stable and inert material, which makes the bottle ideal for filling various liquid blends, serums, oils or concentrated solutions. The square shape facilitates storage, labelling and clear arrangement of products on shelves as well as in cosmetic sets, while the black closure completes the modern look and reliable sealing of the contents.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass belongs among stable and inert materials, therefore it is generally suitable also for formulations with active substances, preservatives or aromatic components. For each new product, however, we recommend performing your own stability test – to verify the behaviour of the formulation over time, its reaction to light and temperature, and to check the sealing of the closure during normal use and transport.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap need to be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Disinfection helps to minimise microbiological risk and at the same time reduces the risk of transferring fragrances or residues of the previous formulation into the new product.
Before reuse, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing it with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and detergent, if compatible with your formulation), rinsing thoroughly and drying completely. Then apply disinfection – treat the inside and the neck of the packaging with alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, allow it to evaporate and only then fill in the final product. For closures and any dispensers we recommend the same procedure, with emphasis on all contact surfaces.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be sorted into the glass container after removing product residues and labels. The cap may be made from a different material than the bottle itself; therefore, follow the material designation in the parameter table (e.g. plastic caps are sorted according to the type of plastic). By separating the individual parts, you improve the quality of recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
When selecting suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can clearly narrow down the range according to several parameters – especially according to the type of neck, size, colour and packaging material. In this way, you can easily find the bottle, jar or pot that best corresponds to your formulation, design and method of product dispensing.
When filling, we recommend working at a stable room temperature and avoiding sudden temperature shocks (for example, pouring a very hot liquid into cold glass). Do not overfill the bottle, so that there is space left for safe closing without overflow. During storage, it is advisable to protect the contents from extreme temperatures and, depending on the nature of the product, also from direct sunlight. Before distribution or sale, always make sure that the closure seals well and that the packaging is mechanically undamaged.
