The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control over every drop is important. The glass bottle with dropper is suitable for most cosmetic actives and oil serums intended for external use. Glass is a stable material and the dropper allows precise dosing even with highly concentrated preparations. For each new formulation, however, we recommend performing your own compatibility test to verify the behaviour of the packaging material in contact with the specific formulation throughout the entire planned storage period.

How should I properly prepare the bottle for repeated use?

The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill them.

How can I safely recycle the bottle if I no longer want to reuse it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations arising from the material identification given in the product parameters. The glass container can usually be sorted into the container designated for glass, while the dropper and cap may be made from several materials. Before recycling, remove any product residues, if possible separate the packaging into individual parts and sort them according to the type of material in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and with the information given for the product on Handymade.sk.

What should I pay attention to when filling and storing products in this glass bottle?
