This type of dropper bottle is ideal for filling oily, alcoholic and aqueous solutions, serums and active concentrates, where dose accuracy and protection of the contents against contamination are important. This product represents a combination of bottle and dropper closure ready for immediate use. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify optimal functionality for your particular product.

Yes, the packaging can be reused with appropriate handling, but we recommend reusing it mainly within the same product type (for example always for oil serums). Before each refilling, the bottle, cap and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Adhering to hygiene principles is crucial for maintaining the quality and safety of the final product.
Before reuse, we recommend disassembling the bottle into its individual parts, thoroughly rinsing any residues of the original product with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water, and allowing it to dry completely. The components must then be disinfected – for example using IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured, and it is important to remove any disinfectant residues before refilling. When cleaning the dropper, proceed gently to avoid mechanical damage or reduced tightness.
The bottle is ideal for products that require precise dosing drop by drop – for example facial and oil serums, concentrated active ingredients, aromatherapy blends, perfume bases or special local preparations. It is also suitable for trial batches or samples where you need to verify the behaviour of the formulation in the packaging and the dosing method. For very viscous or gel-type products, we recommend first testing whether the dropper allows comfortable application.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, clean environment, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. Glass is a stable material, but it is advisable to follow the recommendations for the specific formulation – some active ingredients require a cooler or shaded environment. Always close the bottle carefully to prevent evaporation of volatile components and to reduce the possibility of contamination of the contents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. Once product residues have been removed and it has been rinsed, the glass part can be placed in the collection intended for packaging glass according to local waste management rules. The cap and dropper must be separated from the bottle and sorted according to the material type stated in the product parameters on the website. By following these principles, you support effective recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
