The glass bottle with a transparent body and a black‑gold dropper is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid formulations in small amounts. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the integrated pipette, it provides reliable packaging for cosmetic as well as more technically demanding formulations, where control over every single drop is important. The packaging is ideal for products that require clean, aesthetic and at the same time functional packaging with practical drop-by-drop dosing.
This glass bottle with dropper is supplied as a functional set of bottle + dosing closure, designed for precise drop dosing of the contents. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging functions optimally with your product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle can be reused if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way, the risk of microbial contamination is minimized and the quality of the new contents is preserved.
We recommend disassembling the dropper into individual parts (glass pipette, rubber part, cap) and mechanically cleaning off any residues of the original product. It is then appropriate to rinse it with a suitable cleaning medium that is compatible with the original formulation (for example an oil- or alcohol-based medium), and after drying, disinfect it with alcohol. For rubber parts it is important to avoid extreme temperatures and aggressive solvents to prevent damage to elasticity and sealing.
Dropper packaging is most suitable for products that are used in small amounts and require precise dosing – typically facial serums, oil concentrates, active facial blends, aromatherapy drops or hair elixirs. Thanks to the possibility of dosing the contents drop by drop, this type of packaging is ideal for concentrated formulations where accuracy and control over the amount of product applied are important.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle and dropper, we recommend recycling them according to the types of materials used, as specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed in the glass container after cleaning off any product residues. The plastic or combination parts of the closure and the dropper must be sorted according to their material marking, which you will find in the parameter table or on the packaging itself. Before recycling, remove as much product residue as possible so that sorting is as efficient as possible and in line with local waste sorting rules.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging materials category. After clicking on the selected category, a filter appears at the top of the page, where you can sort the packaging according to several parameters – for example neck finish, size, colour or material. By combining these criteria, you quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that matches your formulation and visual concept, and you can more easily choose the optimal bottle, dropper bottle or jar for your final product.
We recommend preparing a trial batch of the product and filling it into several bottles, which you then leave for a certain time under conditions close to real use (normal room temperature, handling, opening and closing). Monitor the sealing of the dropper, changes in viscosity, any discolouration of the glass, and changes in the fragrance or consistency of the product. If no undesirable reactions between the packaging and the contents occur and the dosing remains stable, you can include the packaging in your permanent range with greater confidence.
