Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling. However, it is always necessary to follow basic hygiene principles – before each new filling, carefully clean the bottle and then disinfect it with a suitable preparation. For disinfection, we recommend using technical alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which are available in the Handymade.sk range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after thorough drying is the bottle ready for refilling.
For cleaning the glass, it is advisable to first use warm water with a mild detergent to remove residues of the original product. After thorough rinsing with clean water, we recommend disinfecting the bottle with an alcohol-based preparation, for example with products available on Handymade.sk – IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After rinsing with alcohol, leave the packaging to dry naturally upside down on a clean surface to minimize the risk of contamination before the next filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters for this packaging on Handymade.sk. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in glass collection (glass container), while the plastic cap is typically intended for plastic collection, unless otherwise stated in the product parameters. Before placing in sorted waste, we recommend removing any product residues from the packaging and, if possible, separating the glass part from the cap so that the materials can be recycled efficiently.
