The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution that is ideal for precise dosing of liquid formulations, serums and concentrates. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the integrated dropper, it is suitable for filling products where controlled application and protection of the formula during storage and use are important. The dark glass also helps to limit light penetration to the sensitive contents, which supports their stability.
The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass bottle is also suitable for oil-based and fragranced formulations. Glass is generally a stable material with respect to common cosmetic oils, essential oils and aromatic substances, which helps to preserve the quality, scent and appearance of the contents. Nevertheless, we recommend performing your own compatibility test of the specific formula with the packaging before final filling.
The bottle can be reused provided that proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging needs to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and mutual interaction of individual formulations. For disinfection we recommend, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After cleaning and disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then fill it again.
Before repeated filling, we recommend first mechanically removing any residues of the original product, then rinsing both the bottle and the dropper with a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly rinsing with clean water. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging – for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, let all parts of the packaging air dry at room temperature so that no moisture remains in them before the new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. The glass body of the bottle can generally, after being thoroughly emptied and cleaned, be placed in the container designated for glass. We recommend separating the dropper and the cap and sorting them according to the material indicated in the product parameters on the website – they usually belong to the relevant fraction of plastic or mixed waste. Always adapt the recycling procedure to the information in the parameter table and to local regulations.
