The glass bottle with a glossy black surface and black spray pump represents an elegant and practical packaging for high-quality cosmetic products and other liquid formulations. Thanks to the durable glass and precise spray pump, it is suitable for filling products where gentle, even dosing without contact with the contents inside the bottle is important.
The dark, opaque glass naturally helps protect sensitive components from undesirable light exposure, thereby extending the stability and appearance of the product. The bottle is suitable for liquid products with various viscosities that require hygienic and controlled application using a practical spray pump.
This bottle with spray pump is supplied as a complete, functional set of packaging and dosing mechanism, ready for direct filling and use. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – sealing, dosing, and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, including longer-term storage.

The glass bottle is generally suitable for most aqueous solutions, hydrolats, and formulations containing alcohol used in cosmetics. Before filling, we recommend performing a trial filling and a short-term stability test to verify the behavior of your specific recipe in contact with the packaging as well as with the spray pump.
The bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, rinsed, and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the glass part and the spray pump to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill the container.
For smooth and even spraying, we recommend using rather low-viscosity or slightly viscous liquids without larger undissolved particles. After each use, you can briefly actuate the spray pump with clean water or an alcohol solution to flush the internal capillary. For formulations containing powders or a high proportion of oils, it is advisable to first test the dosing on a smaller amount of product.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it and, if possible, rinsing it. The glass part of the bottle usually belongs in the separated glass waste according to local sorting rules, while the plastic components of the spray pump are sorted according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. In case of doubt, follow the recommendations of your waste collection company and the information about the material in the product parameter table on the Handymade website. In this way, you ensure environmentally responsible handling of the packaging at the end of its life cycle.
