Glass bottle in a black glossy finish with a ribbed child‑resistant cap represents a professional solution for packaging cosmetic and technical solutions where product protection and controlled dosing are important. The opaque dark glass helps protect light‑sensitive components of formulations from degradation and is suitable for precisely closing finished products as well as intermediates in smaller batches.
Thanks to the high‑quality material, this pharmaceutical bottle is ideal for liquid preparations, serums, concentrates or aromatic blends where stability, minimisation of contact with the external environment and a professional appearance of the final product are important.
This glass bottle is designed to be combined with compatible caps and dosing solutions according to the parameters selected for the product. Within the Handymade range, they are compatible with various types of closures and dosing, such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and undamaged; however, it is always recommended to observe strict hygiene principles. Before each refilling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol‑based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for reuse.
First remove residues of the original product by mechanically rinsing with warm water and a suitable cleansing agent and, if necessary, using a bottle brush. After thoroughly rinsing with clean water, allow the bottle to drain and dry. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based, and after the alcohol has completely evaporated, the packaging is ready for refilling.
Before recycling, we recommend emptying the bottle as much as possible and removing product residues. The glass container is sorted according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website, usually into the glass container. The cap and any additional plastic or metal components should be separated and sorted according to their material, again following the instructions in the product parameters. Observing these recommendations helps ensure efficient recycling of the individual components of the packaging.
The glass bottle is particularly suitable for concentrated liquid formulations such as facial and hair serums, booster solutions, oil elixirs, active concentrates or tinctures for external use. Thanks to the dark glass, it is also suitable for products containing light‑sensitive substances (for example certain plant extracts or antioxidants), where increased protection from light is important. For very aggressive or specific chemical mixtures, we recommend performing a compatibility test before filling.
