The glass bottle with a black glossy surface and a black-and-gold spray pump represents an elegant and functional solution for packaging liquid cosmetic products and other formulations where precise and gentle application using a sprayer is important. The dark glass also helps protect more sensitive formulas from undesirable light exposure, which contributes to the stability and longer shelf life of the contents.
The packaging is suitable for various types of liquid products – from facial and body care preparations to aromatic blends based on water or oil. Thanks to the high-quality spray pump, it enables comfortable and even application, which will be appreciated by home formulators as well as small brands looking for a professional-looking cosmetic bottle.
This glass bottle with spray pump is designed as a functional combination of packaging and dosing component. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify the suitability of the packaging for your particular product.

Glass is generally a very stable packaging material and is usually well tolerated even in formulations containing alcohol or essential oils. However, we recommend carrying out your own test for every new formula – fill a small amount of product, monitor the behaviour of the contents and the functionality of the spray pump, and check whether there are any changes in scent, colour or spraying performance.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol (for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol ethanol 96 %). This minimises the risk of microbial contamination, impact on stability and transfer of scents or residues from the previous product into the new formulation.
We recommend first rinsing the glass part mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and finally disinfecting with alcohol, for example using a product based on isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. The spray pump should be repeatedly flushed with water and then with alcohol, while several actuations ensure that the disinfecting solution flows through the entire mechanism. After complete drying, the packaging is ready for refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the individual material types listed in the product specifications. The glass bottle can usually be disposed of in a glass container after being emptied and rinsed. The spray pump and plastic parts should be separated from the glass and sorted according to the type of plastic, or handed over at a recycling centre in accordance with local waste separation rules. Always remove product residues before recycling to facilitate further processing of the material.
