Black glossy glass bottle with cream pump is a practical packaging designed for hygienic and precise dispensing of creamy and emulsion formulations. Thanks to the sturdy glass vial and high-quality cream pump, it is ideal for filling more viscous liquids and semi-liquids that require controlled and clean application without direct contact with the contents.
The opaque dark glass helps protect sensitive components from light, thereby supporting the stability of the product’s texture, fragrance and colour during storage. The bottle is suitable for smaller batches, testers and final products where a professional look, practical dispensing and reliable packaging are important.
This glass bottle is supplied with a cream pump, with the combination of packaging and closure designed to ensure functional and reliable dispensing. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, presence of oils, active substances or preservative system).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the pump, then rinsing them with a suitable disinfectant and allowing them to dry thoroughly. To disinfect the inner surface of the packaging, you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in the raw materials category (e.g. IPA products or ethanol in a quality suitable for cleaning). Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the packaging ready to be filled with the cream formulation.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each refilling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean, rinse and disinfect the bottle and the pump, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 or ethanol 96 denatured. For this purpose, you can use the products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l. After applying the disinfectant, all parts of the packaging must be allowed to dry completely and only then refilled.
During formulation development, it is advisable to test the viscosity of the cream directly in this bottle with the pump. We recommend preparing a small trial batch, filling it into the bottle and checking whether the pump draws in and dispenses the cream smoothly without clogging or splattering. If the cream is too thick, it may help to slightly adjust the composition (for example the ratio of emulsifiers or the oil phase) so that a comfortable viscosity during dispensing is maintained. We always recommend carrying out a test over several days to confirm stable behaviour during storage.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing any product residues. The glass part of the bottle can, according to the material information in the product parameters, be placed in the appropriate glass recycling stream. The pump, which consists of several components (plastic, possibly a metal spring), should usually be placed in mixed waste or sorted plastic waste in accordance with local sorting rules. In case of doubt, follow the recommendations stated in the product parameter table and the local waste collection system so that recycling is as effective as possible.
When selecting suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category (for example bottles, jars or dispensers). In the extended filter you can easily combine several parameters at once – select the type and neck diameter, the desired size, colour or packaging material. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the range to only those solutions that meet the technical and design requirements of your product and more easily find the ideal combination of bottle and closure.
