However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the final packaging will be reliable during long-term use.

FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is this glass bottle suitable for thicker creams as well as light emulsions?

Yes, the dosing bottle is designed for creamy, gel-like and lighter emulsion textures. Before final filling, we recommend carrying out a trial dosing with a smaller amount of product to verify the smoothness and size of a single dose for your specific formula.

How should the bottle be properly prepared for first use or refilling?

The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely so that moisture does not accumulate inside the packaging.

How can I ensure that the cream dosing remains even throughout the entire period of use?

For even dosing, it is important to fill the bottle without larger air bubbles and not to overfill it above the recommended capacity stated in the product parameters. After filling, we recommend pressing the pump several times before first use to vent the system. For very thick creams, it may help to slightly reduce the viscosity of the formula or briefly mix part of the product before filling so that it becomes more homogeneous.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To choose suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter, you can easily filter by neck type, size, colour and packaging material. This allows you to quickly choose the bottle, pharmaceutical vial or jar that will best match your product and the required dosing.

Is it possible to use this bottle long term and repeatedly change the contents?

The bottle can be reused as long as correct hygienic procedures are followed. With each change of contents, we recommend cleaning the entire packaging including the dispenser, rinsing it thoroughly and disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %. Only after all components have completely dried is it appropriate to refill the bottle, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination.

How should I correctly recycle the bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle, after emptying and basic rinsing, belongs in the glass container in accordance with local collection rules. The plastic parts of the dispenser and any seals should be separated and sorted into the appropriate plastic containers, if the local waste sorting system allows it. Always also follow the instructions of your municipality or waste collection company.
