The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution that is ideal for precise dosing of cosmetic and specialist preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and practical dropper closure, it is suitable for filling liquid formulations of various viscosities, where control of the amount during application is important.
The opaque dark glass also helps to reduce light penetration to sensitive components, which helps protect the stability and properties of the contents during storage and use. The packaging is suitable for small doses of concentrated products, to which it gives a professional appearance and practical functionality for everyday use.
Before first use, we recommend checking the bottle, removing dust or mechanical impurities and then thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting it. For disinfecting the inner surface as well as the dropper, it is appropriate to use alcohol-based disinfectants, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow them to evaporate completely. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready to be filled with the final product.
Yes, the glass bottle can be reused provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based agent, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-derived ethanol (ethanol 96 % denatured). After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then fill them again. When changing the type of product (e.g. from an oil-based to a water-based product), we recommend an even more thorough cleaning procedure between individual fillings to prevent residues of the old contents from mixing with the new.
Reliable dosing depends on the viscosity of the specific product and on correctly screwing the dropper onto the neck of the bottle. After filling the container, first check that the dropper is firmly tightened, but not over-tightened, and carry out a dosing test in a vertical position. With thicker oils, the flow may be slower; with thinner formulations, it is advisable to dispense over a small container or sample vial. If you plan to use significantly different types of products, we recommend carrying out a short test with a smaller amount of contents to verify that the dropper doses at the desired rate and without leaking around the thread.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material specified in the product parameter table. The glass body of the bottle, after removal of product residues and cleaning, is usually placed in the glass collection container. The dropper is made up of several parts (for example plastic, rubber and possibly glass), so it is advisable to disassemble it where possible and sort the individual materials into the appropriate collection bins, if the local waste collection system allows this. If disassembly is not possible, follow the recommendations of the local waste collection service and the general rules for composite packaging. Before handing it over for collection, try to minimise the amount of product residues in the container.
The quickest way to find suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example glass bottles, jars or dropper bottles), you will find a filter at the top of the page where you can combine several parameters at once. You can select according to the type of neck, size, colour and material of the packaging, which allows you to quickly narrow down the offer only to packaging suitable for a specific product. Thanks to this, you will easily find a matching bottle and compatible closures or dispensers for it.
