Gloss Black Glass Bottle, White Matte Smooth Dropper, 30 ml

This black glossy glass bottle with a volume of 30 ml and a white matte dropper is used for storing and dispensing liquid cosmetics drop by drop. The opaque black glass blocks light, so the contents are protected from its effects throughout use. The dropper releases roughly the same small amount each time, the product does not spill, and when applying it you do not come into contact with the neck of the bottle.

The set consists of a medicine bottle and a dropper with a white matte smooth cap, the length of which is matched to the height of the bottle. The glass tube reaches almost to the bottom, so the contents can be drawn up even when the level is low. The 30 ml volume corresponds to the usual size of facial serums and oils that are used by the drop and consumed within a few weeks to months. The white cap on black glass creates a contrast that stands out on the shelf and in product photos.

The set as a whole is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products. Only the glass bottle on its own has a certificate for direct food contact; the dropper does not, which is why the set is intended for cosmetics.

What the set is suitable for

• Facial serums – water-based and oil-based serums that are applied in a few drops and contain light-sensitive active ingredients, for example vitamin C or retinol.
• Face, hair and beard oils – blends of vegetable oils, optionally with added essential oils, where the dropper helps you avoid applying more than necessary.
• Oil concentrates and active ingredients – products that are added drop by drop to a cream, mask or bath.
• Nail and cuticle oil – a small pack for precise application to a tiny area.
• Samples and travel sizes – 30 ml is enough to try out a formulation, for a small batch for sale or as a gift.

Volume and filling

Nominal volume is the volume for which the packaging is intended under normal filling. Brimful volume is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck, and you will find it in the product parameters. The difference between them provides a reserve for the glass tube of the dropper, which displaces part of the contents upwards when screwed in, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes.

Before first use, we recommend washing the bottle and the dropper, disinfecting them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leaving them to dry completely. Moisture inside could compromise the stability of the product, especially with anhydrous oil blends.

Good to know

The dropper is made of several materials: a glass tube, a silicone squeeze bulb and a PP cap. Glass and silicone tolerate common cosmetic oils and water-based solutions. For products with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking how the silicone bulb behaves during longer contact with the specific formulation.

The dropper works best with liquid products. Thick serums with a higher content of gelling agents are drawn up more slowly and may not drip evenly from the tube. For such formulations, test the dispensing before filling an entire batch.

The bottle and the dropper can be reused after thorough washing and drying. When cleaning, pull off the silicone bulb and wash it separately so that no oil residue remains in it. For disposal, the glass bottle belongs with glass, and before sorting, the dropper is taken apart into the glass tube, the silicone bulb and the plastic cap.
