The glass bottle with spray pump is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling cosmetic products, aromatherapeutic blends and other liquid formulations where fine and even atomization is required. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the precise spray mechanism, the bottle provides stable, repeatable dosing and helps preserve the properties of sensitive ingredients during storage and use.
This type of packaging is ideal for products that require hygienic, touch-free application directly onto the skin or into the surrounding space. Glass is a chemically resistant material that minimizes interactions with the contents, thereby reducing the risk of changes to the scent, colour or consistency of the final product and supporting its long-term stability.
Glass bottles without closure on Handymade are designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely to avoid dilution or degradation of the new formulation.
The bottle with spray pump is most suitable for liquid products with low to medium viscosity that are intended to be applied as a fine spray. In practice, this mainly includes facial and body sprays, hydrolats, hair tonics, product testers and aromatic blends for ambient use. Thick emulsions, gels or high-viscosity oils may not be suitable for this type of dosing, so it is always advisable to test the behaviour of the specific formulation in advance.
First remove any residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution (for example warm water with a mild detergent, if compatible with the previous formulation). Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water, allow it to dry, and finally disinfect the internal surfaces and the spray mechanism with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to fully air out and dry before refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. After rinsing and removing product residues, place the glass part of the bottle into the container designated for glass. The plastic components of the spray pump (head, dip tube, possible seals) should be sorted according to the type of plastic listed in the parameter table – typically into the relevant container for plastic waste. For composite materials, it is advisable to separate them as far as possible so that recycling is as effective as possible.
