The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps, or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (for example isopropyl alcohol 99% or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based) and allowed to dry completely. This procedure helps to minimise microbiological risk and supports the stability of the new product.
The glass bottle is ideal for packaging products that are dispensed in small amounts – cosmetic serums, oils, intensive treatments, toners, aromatic blends, or various laboratory and test solutions. In combination with a suitable dropper or spray pump, it allows precise and convenient use, which is particularly important for concentrated formulations.
We recommend first rinsing the bottle mechanically with residual carrier oil or a suitable solvent compatible with the original contents, then washing it with warm water and a mild detergent and rinsing thoroughly. After drying, the internal surface and the neck of the packaging must be disinfected using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, allowed to evaporate, and only then refilled. This procedure reduces the risk of contamination of the new product.
Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any visible product residues. The glass packaging is normally sorted into the container designated for glass, while the closure or dispensing mechanism must be sorted according to their material, following the instructions given in the product specifications on the website. By following the recommended sorting, you support efficient material recycling and waste reduction.
